Contract amendments
Modify terms, extend dates, or adjust amounts on a contract.
When to amend a contract
Amendments are required when you need to change the scope, value, timeline, or terms of an existing contract.
Types of amendments

| Administrative | Correct minor errors |
| Modification | Change scope, pricing, or deliverables |

| Supplemental | Add new line items or tasks |
Creating an amendment
- Open the contract and click Actions > Amend.
- Select the amendment type.
- Describe the changes in the Justification field.
- Upload the signed amendment document.
- Click Submit for Approval.
Approval workflow
Amendments follow the same approval chain as the original contract.
Tracking amendment history
Every amendment is logged in the History tab with timestamps, authors, and approval status.
Tip: For value increases above the simplified acquisition threshold, ensure you have the required competition documentation attached.
