Grant milestones
Define and track key milestones and due dates for your grants.
What are milestones?
Milestones are the key deliverables or checkpoints in a grant's lifecycle. They help you track progress, trigger payments, and satisfy reporting requirements.
Creating milestones
- Open the grant and navigate to the Milestones tab.
- Click Add Milestone.
- Fill in the milestone name, due date, and deliverable description.
- Assign a payment amount if the milestone is tied to disbursement.
Milestone statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Not yet started |
| In Progress | Work has begun |
| Submitted | Deliverable submitted for review |
| Approved | Accepted by the grant manager |
| Rejected | Requires revision |
Automating reminders
GovSavi can send email reminders 7, 3, and 1 day before a milestone is due. Enable this in Settings > Notifications.
Tip: Use the milestone timeline view for a visual overview of all upcoming deadlines.
